Job Description:

Introduction and sales of new products currently not included in existing model line up.



  • Market analyses – Advise the company on consensus forecasts for the industry and the company’s Transport Solutions, using economic, econometric and financial research results
  • Competitor analysis and maintenance of a competitor library
  • Initiate and compile DAF product offerings from conceptual to implementation phase ensuring transport operator and legal suitability and compliance
  • Provide the sales network with planning, training, transport consultancy, sales engineering and support to market our products
  • Create, provide and maintain suitable point of sale material inputs
  • Providing input into sales forecasts and sales targets based on market activity
  • Liaison with body builders and Industry forums
  • Direct sales of vehicles to key customers


Requirements: Qualification and Skill

  • Matric
  • 10 years’ experience in the heavy waste and construction industry
  • Certified transport consultant (or equivalent qualification)
  • Requires a lot of cold calling
  • Must have business development skills
  • Very strong sales skills
  • Deadline driven
