Job Description:

The successful incumbent’s role will be to provide administrative support and perform an efficient administrative function for the HR Department to ensure effective and up to date reporting and analysis, thereby contributing to the development of a competent workforce

 

Responsibilities:

  • Attend to and advise Line Managers on all HR matters arising, with particular reference to relationships, wellbeing, engagement, behaviour and performance, while assisting Line Managers in solving these
  • Provide day-to-day on and off the job advice and support to employees and Line Managers on Company policies, practices and procedures while ensuring consistent application across the business
  • Responsible for the setting up and co-ordination of the entire process of effective employee relations processes and form partnerships with the on-site Unions to ensure prevention of potential issues
  • Represent the Business at the CCMA if need be
  • Responsible for the compilation of periodic, statistical and project reports in areas of responsibility
  • Facilitate the entire recruitment and selection process in line with the Group Recruitment Policy including the employee on-boarding process
  • Drive transformation activities in line with the Group Transformation Policy and agenda
  • Stay abreast of Collective Bargaining matters and developments


 

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

  • National Diploma in Human Resources (or equivalent)
  • 3 – 5 years continuous job experience in a similar role
  • Industrial relations experience advantageous
  • Experience working within an engineering or construction background advantageous
